The spoiler can be seen on the Legendary Motorsport gallery. If purchased through Legendary Motorsport, the Comet SR will be fitted a stock spoiler that resembles a spoiler option available for the 997 GT2 RS however, if spawned through other means, the wing will not be installed. The rims can also assign a "Wheel" colour, although only examples generated in the Content Creator may have a black colour. The wheels are similar to the "Synthetic Z" sport rims available in Los Santos Customs, although the centre of the rims are larger, almost reaching the surrounding bolts. The vehicle is normally painted with a primary colour on the body and the roll cage, while the secondary colour seems to be only applied on secondary-coloured modification options. The interior of the car shares the same dials and textures as the standard Comet, but features white stitching and a rear roll cage. The vehicle also sports smaller, C-shaped tail lamps on the edges. The rear section uses a carbon-fibre bumper that spans the width of the car and part of the rear quarters, while the boot assumes a similar design to that of the Grand Theft Auto IV rendition of the Comet (albeit the "Comet" badge was relocated to the centre). ![]() On the sides, the skirts and the vented fenders are finished in carbon-fibre, while the greenhouse area makes use of carbon-fibre mirror shells and roof panel. The upper area is similar in design and features as the standard Comet, but the circular lamps were replaced by rectangular modern lamps with LED strips. The front of the car replaces the small extender with a carbon-fibre splitter, while the bumper features large mesh intakes, no longer having the small fog lamps on it. The Comet SR shares the body design layout from the standard Comet, but sports several CFRP elements throughout the body. The updated headlamp design is based on the optional LED-Matrix design of Porsche cars. The Comet SR is a racing-oriented variant of the Comet, evidently based on the Porsche 997 GT2 RS. The Pfister Comet SR is a sports car featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the The Doomsday Heist update, released on February 27th, 2018, during the GTA Online Bonuses event. The SR was made for only one thing: to make every other sports car look like it's the asthmatic kid in gym. Forget picking up sex workers and passing them off as your fiancé at family gatherings. ![]() Forget cruising through Vinewood with a bellyful of whiskey dropping one-liners about the size of your bonus. Thanks for correcting my mistake.“ Forget everything you think you know about the Pfister Comet. I would say it takes the cake to the top cars in the Sports class, aside from the Pariah. The Comet SR has a downforce multiplier of 2.25, and it is actually quite quick. The only outlier to this are stock spoilers on vehicles, such as the Elegy RH8, Infernus, and Phoenix, which do not add traction. Do the spoilers add down force? So we can have less grip in the non spoiler version and then full grip by adding spoilers, I plan at least 2 on this basis, one 911R type and one GT2RS type. From what I've seen the traction stat is maxed out from stock.Īll spoilers for vehicles add traction, regardless of whether the car has downforce multiplier, a maxed-out Traction stat in mod shops, or something else. The new comet needs to be super grippy, like a modern Porsche.we need amazing performance to justify the price,to differentiate properly between new and old, I want it to feel markedly different but also still have a wild side but requiring more to push it past the limit. And anyone with a brain can easily tell the difference between a Normal comet and an SR version. The same body shape but with different headlights, different front bumper, different taillights. The differences between the Regular and SR comet are basically what the differences are between the 997 and 991. But I have glitched money so I don't care. It's the same sh*t but better with an outragious price. 09s quicker in a straight line Comet diguised as a "new" car? Damn right. Do I find it ridiculous that I'm paying 10x as much for no wing, barely facelifted, forced roll cage. Lots of people wanted a 991 (more people than a wingless IV Comet) and I don't blame them.Īm I fine with a better looking IV Comet with no wing? Yeah. The Comet SR (Image via Rockstar Games) It's the first of three Comet vehicles on this list, and 122.00 mph (196.34 km/h) is a respectable top speed for a Sports car. People have been asking for a Comet that comes without a spoiler anyway, so what's the issue? They are parodying Porsche, but anybody with a brain and a set of eyes in their skull can tell the different between a 997 and a 991. ![]() Because it's not like they're parodying Porsche, or anything, who make very minimal changes in their vehicle designs. But that's obviously too much work for Rockstar, and here we are with a barely-updated Comet from IV.
